Daycare Readiness Policy

To create a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all children, we kindly ask parents and guardians to prepare their child for daycare each day. Proper preparation helps ensure a smooth transition and allows your child to fully enjoy and participate in daily activities. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Clean Diapers (if applicable) Children who wear diapers must arrive in a clean, fresh diaper. Overnight diapers should be changed before arrival to ensure your child’s comfort and hygiene.

  • Children should arrive well-groomed and ready to start their day. This includes clean hands, clean faces, and neatly combed hair.

  • Dress your child in comfortable, seasonally appropriate clothing suitable for daily activities, which may include messy play.

  • Pajamas are not permitted, except on designated “Pajama Days” or special events.

  • A spare change of clothes is required for all children in case of accidents or messes.

  • Children under 3 years old or potty training: Please provide at least two full changes of clothing, including socks.

  • Sneakers and socks are required every day to ensure safety and comfort during activities. Open-toed shoes are not permitted.

Please also remember whenever weather permits, children are taken outside for 1-2 hours per day. Please ensure that you have proper outerwear provided for your child so that they are comfortable and won’t miss out on outdoor play. If a child does not have proper outdoor apparel the entire classroom will have to stay inside if an assistant is not present.
